The Symphonic Band is the premier performing concert ensemble at Pulaski County High School and is comprised of students grades 9-12. The Symphonic Band is a course that students can enroll in a receive fine arts / elective credit with prior approval from the director of bands. The focus of this ensemble is to refine the playing skills and abilities of the wind and percussion musicians, while studying and performing some of the most challenging wind band literature ranging from grades IV-VI+. This ensemble will perform in several concerts and events throughout the semester as well as VBODA sanctioned events and festivals. Students are highly encouraged to study privately on their instrument and to participate in VBODA All-district band events.
