Small ensembles may be formed after-school during the fall and spring semesters. All band members are encouraged to participate. Possible groups are brass quintets, woodwind quartets and quintets, flute choir, saxophone quartet and ensembles, tuba/euphonium quartet and ensembles, trombone quartet and choir, clarinet quartets and choir, horn ensemble, brass choir, etc. These groups may be featured on various concerts and other community and/or school performances. There will be a dedicated concert to chamber ensembles in the spring and these ensembles and groups will be encouraged to participate in the VBODA solo and ensemble festival held in the spring as well as to perform in and around the community at churches, nursing homes, and other public events and locations.
